Bacon Freak: 50 Savory Recipes for the Ultimate Enthusiast
The Bacon Freak cookbook was published by Sterling Publishing in 2016. I wrote all of the copy for the cookbook while working for Coastal Vineyards, a food and beverage company with various food, wine, and gift ecommerce websites.
I did all of the research for the book including interviewing experts in the field, food bloggers, owners of food trucks, restaurants, and breweries. I helped with recipe development and created some of the cookbook's recipes.
The strength of my 20-page cookbook proposal resulted in bids from multiple publishing companies. An excerpt from the cookbook proposal is available below.
